How To Build A Hydroponic System

How many times have you looked at your back door just to look at a deer happily devouring their favorite tomato plants? It occurred to me in the past and may occur now. Picture of some overweight, middle-aged man jumped to his back door to scare away some hungry deer and has a picture of me doing the shoo-Deer Chase!

There are so many different resources and possible solutions to this problem that would require a book to merely list them all. It seems that every area of the country is there specific to certain types of deer repellents that they claim are better than the last. Try to introduce some concepts to rid your garden of these fours appetites.

One of the oldest of the resources is the use of dressed dried blood around the plants. Another complaint of deer repellent fame is the use of hair in the garden area. From mesh bags filled with human hair was found that 34 per cent effective in removing the garden from deer. This hair can be collected free of any beauty or barber shop. Try to get "Dirty Hair" instead of hair that had been washed and clean.

Some people have claimed to have obtained very good results for different types of commercial repellents. Unfortunately, as stated above there are plenty of repellents and their specific effects seem to vary from one area of the country to another.

You can find what is known as contact repellents are applied directly to plants themselves. These types generally produce the plants to be very distasteful to deer. Some repellents are applied to the garden area in general and chase the deer out by its very bad smell. During a test conducted last in the Connecticut area had 6 different deer repellents tested and evaluated. Here are the results:

Big game repellents as "Deer Away" was about 45 percent effective. Deer away is made of solid putrefaction whole egg. In short, it is rotten eggs. Another entry called "Hinder" had an efficacy of 44 percent. The main content of this repellent soaps ammonium. Thiram was third with a rating of 43 percent. This product is a bitter tasting fungicide.

The Magic Circle has a repellent active ingredient of tar oil bone. It is used to absorb oil in small slices of burlap. Its effectiveness was only 18 percent. It was followed by Miller Hot Sauce, which naturally contains a The pepper solution extract of hot peppers. The hot sauce was only 15 percent effective in repelling deer.

A recent introduction in the field was the product Repellex. Repellex comes in several different ways. The first is a liquid that is simply sprayed on the foliage, while the other is a dry product. This form of repellent is known as a systemic repellent and should be worked on the floor as if soil nutrients and water applied to it. The plant then absorbs soil repellent. Some remedies have been charged for results by linking several pieces of deodorant soap on the branches of nearby trees. The bar of soap cut in the middle of a dozen pieces and each piece is carefully placed in a mesh bag. The more scented soap is the best that is claimed to work. No discomfort not use deodorant soap because it does not work as well. Predator urine or manure has been recognized as a deterrent for the deer in the gardens. In conclusion, I would like to offer you a quick homemade version that you may want to try.

Top of the mixture of a couple of eggs with several cups of cold water. Place a mixer blender and turn at high speed. Add the resulting mixture to a gallon of water and let stand overnight. After 24 hours you can then mix spraying their garden plants. The mixture of eggs used in this homemade formula, not easy to wash the foliage, however, recommended that you to apply several times during the growing season. As an additional benefit of this mixture has been known to repel rabbits too.
