How To Build A Hydroponic System

Can you start the seeds of apple trees with hydroponics?

I am sure this will sound strange, but the other day, I was eating an apple, and when I got half, I found that the seeds have sprouted roots and had a couple of inches long! It was late at night, and I had no available land in the pot, so I improvised a makeshift hydroponic system. The system consists of a small pump that I bought the year Last Located at the bottom of a water bottle cut in half, a funnel at the top of this, and a tube from the pump goes up the chimney. Then I took a rag, folded several times, sewed together at the top, and place the seeds in the folds. I sat on this in the funnel, and began to run on water on the cloth. Anyway, This has got to continue to grow and to begin to sprout some leaves. My questions are ... ... What are the chances of these survive when transplanted to the ground? ... What would be the best way to transplant them? ... At what point should I transplant them? Thanks for your help! Adam
